those examples are extreme, Aren't they????? and they can be prosecuted, But in the main, i think most (a lot of) drivers are sensible No not Extreme.... Example; was at an RTC on the southbound carriageway car was still in lane one. So only lanes two & three running, but traffic was following past...

on the subject of SAG. if it is refused, or I thing that they will get back in after I have gone. I will give them the HA surviving the Hard Shoulder leaflet. that way if the worst happens there is some evidence that SAG was given.

A lorry driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after it collided
with a Ford Focus that was stationary on the hard shoulder.

I don't know who or where this 11 minutes came from but it's not very accurate is it? How many vehicle do we know of that wait 2 hours and more without being struck. How easy would it be to transfer and at what stage could you do it? Officially you have to Wait a year before you can transfer, they can reduce this to six month's in special circumstances. however I know of one HATO who transferred to a different outstation nearer his home after 4 month's. :wink:
