Re: Highways Agency employee stars in BBC documentary series

Missed that one, must've been studying :slhuh:

Recently received abuse from Jezza after appearing on Police Interceptors in my new role :slshh: Actually made two appearances in the last series - now desperately dodging the cameras as my mum says I have "a face for radio" :slw:

Re: Volvo shows off cyclist protection system

Unfortunately the LGV tailgating him won't have that fitted and he's gonna end up in the Volvo's cab :slsix:

Forget the cyclist warning system, can't they supply the Apache Head up display with linked chain gun? :sleye: Much more effective :slgo:

Re: Panorama: Dial 999... and Wait?

So if driver/passenger says they re not injured its procedure to request ambulance......I must have missed that one, I thought if they said they were not injured.....well basically it meant they were not injured. And my little sarcastic comment about the évoque/jag was in the context of the thread ...

Re: Centre for Crime Prevention: 'We need more prisons'

Whatever happened to Blair's, much trumpeted, "Three strikes and you're out" policy??? The scrotes are laughing at us as they know they can deal in drugs with impunity, break into houses, nick cars, assault and even kill people and they'll get nothing more than a slap on the wrist with a wet lettuce...

The Gene pool is depleted as the morons are breeding...... it's only going to get worse :slsad: And as long as the morons have a vote all govts will keep cutting those services that the morons think are of no use to them (even though they are the highest "users") because decent peoples opinions don...

Re: Panorama: Dial 999... and Wait?

We used to have a regular caller who would try to thrust £20 into the hand of the first on scene to 'get her some booze because the taxi drivers have refused to go for her' :slsa: An old fella rang 999 cos he wanted his ' boll**ks washed' as he couldn't be bothered to do it himself :slch: He was sor...

To be fair, the Drink Driving charge was overturned due to evidence handling errors :slh:

Re: New summer shirts

I bought the box of shirts in medium, and I'm wanting to sell every one. Here's a picture of every shirt. The reason the paper says "dangasik," and not "Misfit" is because dangasik is my eBay username, which is where I will put the shirts if they don't sell on here. Buy??? :slsa: You couldn't give ...

From -6 and a severe frost, this morning, to +6 and rain later in the day.....just another day 'oop north' :sltm:

So much for 'coldest winter in 200 years' & 'freezing weather for at least a month' ......what would the Met Office do without their multi-million pound super computer?? :slh:
