Do you have this "officially" Landshark?

There were a number of "real" 999 Responders who did not qualify lastime around so if PCSO are getting it, why aren't members of the Red Cross for instance?

Re: insurance Q1 and Q2

I'm with TO31

An "emailled" certificate or cover note is deemed acceptable proof of insurance.

A driver is NOT required to provide insurance details to a third party at a scenen.

Re: OVER HALF OF MET POLICE FRONT COUNTERS TO CLOSE

Not good for staffing but follows the trend everyone else is taking. We now only hve one main station in County that opensn later than 8pm and half of ours are also closed on weekends or are 10-4 only.

I agree with TO31. This is clearly a Journalist looking for stories and could well be linked to Top Gear judging by all the anti-HATO stuff requested.

Re: who would be a private detective?

I used to be one part time whilst working as a TO! Minimal set up and worked from home with an 0844 number and email. Advertise cheaply in the right "professional"places and work comes to you! Didn't do surveillance work but made a good few bob out of process serving and bank / utilities enquiries o...

Same here. Breakfast was great and you had to make it last until dinner to avoid getting ill off the dodgy lunchtime buffets!

It could be a good addition, along with replacing TOVs with Ford Crown Victorias to go with it!

Re: Forcibly retired pcs invited to return as volunteers

They're not alone Falk.

I am aware of 2 Forcibly retired officers who were asked to become Specials. One gave the force the middle finger (quite rightly) but the other actually considered it until he realised that his new employment with Group 4 was incompatible!

Likewise with the rest of the public sector.

Is it just me or does something seem wrong about the Royal College of Nursing being run by a Doctor?

Re: TMA 2004 Offences

What does it say on the back of the Jacket? You don't need epaulettes to be impersonating an officer. Or a tie. Or a white shirt.
