Trouble is the assessment centres people will be aware of aren't representative of what you may go through because private companies used to be used to manage and facilitate. Pretty much stick to your own advice. Perhaps have a reserve example to discuss if asked for each area. Competency interviews are much the same from organisation to organisation. The folks on here won't tell you what the role play or IT tests will contain as it could be seen as bias. Needless to say...

You're not thinking out of the box there old chap. The Chapter 8/Spill kit/Pot hole repair/animal carcass vans we are getting will be the units towing the screens.

Actually over the last 3 months i've attended three formal training courses, and one which i declined as it wasn't needed anymore.
