No vote from me, Leave it to the people who know how to police.

Re: New Vehicles for 2011

Some people have been nriefed today with TM vehicles will 4x4 estate cars and the fleet will be 60% 4x4 and the remained will be pick-ups and/or vito/transporter vans. Best get our orange ISU type trousers ordered. Yes this is true, but it did say 60% large 4x4 vehicles, the ones we have now. The o...

Re: Vehicle Contracts

We're in the same boat, furthest patrol is 70 mile round trip from the O/S and which leaves not a lot for patrolling actively...Our older vehicles are so knackered now and still on the previous contract so as you can imagine these are getting hammered for miles. I never signed up for the "sitting a...

Re: New Vehicles for 2011

How funny, after buying cheap crap with the "specialist office wallets" deciding what vehicle equipment were getting, it's now all got to be re fitted or replaced. Top job HA. Maybe next time you should ask one of the 800 or so on road TOs for advice about vehicle equipment. what equipment are you ...

Dont need to grow a pair there big enough thanks, so my misses tells me. Dont need to go running to my OM or ROM I just tell the TM what I think, if he/she cry about it then tuff. The truth always hurts. Just let them empire build and then watch it come crashing down, always good fun to watch!!!!!!...

Re: new Regional Operations Manager in charge of North West

Im a TO and i am fed up of lazy T'M's who consider they have a job by right, put no effort in, dont give any sort of service to TO's and whinge about everything. Totally agree, theres plenty of them out there and they will be gone too. Why not grow a pair and go talk to your OM or ROM about your TM...

Re: new Regional Operations Manager in charge of North West

Nothing but good?. Do you know how the RAC patrols work? You may be off for 6 days but be on call and get called in for 3 of them at short notice while your mate who is also on the same 6 days off doesnt get called. That aint good shag> Yep, know how they work as they copied the AA methods. Depends...

Re: Lancashire Police could axe all 427 PCSOs

TO31 I dont recall anyone saying that we should do away with specials? Specials cost alot less than PCSO's, seeing as Specials are unpaid volunteers in many forces. The specials have full policing powers and cost a fraction of what PCSO's do, and the PCSO's have limited powers and are paid around £2...
