FKZ = Still running very well

For those who lived many an hour in her, up and down the M6 north etc. Well the fine old lady is still running better than ever, and looking great. She is now approaching 260,xxx miles. I have kept up the main dealer services, which you kind folks started. She is a "daily driver" and caravan hauler....

Re: FKZ

Hi xHx, No real need to be in UK, except to visit my mum and by brother. Other than that, me and my girl fly Beijing -> Madrid -> Barcelona, and then we fly my mum out from UK to join us. My mum was with us for 3 months last year in Barcelona. Beaches and BBQ and pool every day. No more many transla...

Re: Discovery or land Cruiser

Hi Snafu,

Thanks for the reply.
I am in a city called Weifang.
It is in the North East part of China.
If you look Google Maps, you can find me.
About 600 miles south of Beijing.
It's just a small 3rd tier city with 7,6 million persons. :sleye:

Re: New Vehicles for 2011

Hi Kipper old friend, I am fine, still trying to earn a crust, but the work is drying up fast. I moved out to China to work, and ended up staying out here. That was about 2 and half years ago. For now, I am doing zilch, just relaxing, and passing time until a good job offer comes along, well, here's...

Thanks Slabber for the fast reply,
I forgot to mentiion the Shoguns, mainly because of the bad remarks they were getting, is that still the case that they are in a poor 3rd position?
How is the LC performing with 212k on the clock?

Are the 58 and the 09 the same models?

Re: New Vehicles for 2011

Check the side walls on all 4x4`s and read the lettering codes stamped on them on the tyre sidewall. IIRC You will invariably find in most cases the sidewall casing of 4x4 vehicle tyres are stamped with the lettering code M + S which stands for Mud + Snow - - Not a well known brand Store as some ma...

Re: FKZ

That was really too close for comfort,
Dangerous place the side of the motorway.
Lucky no guys in the Land Cruiser, although, it does look like it withstood the weight of the HGV.

Many will know, I bought FKZ, a 2005 land Cruiser many years ago, and has served very well, before giving to my brother with about 243,000 miles showing. I spend most of my time in...
