Re: your best 2 TV programmes THIS YEAR

There's so many to choose from, i'd pick Ashes to Ashes, who'd have thought Gene Genie was an angel? My second one is Spartacus, Blood and Sand, absolutely brilliant programme. ;)

I can't run to save my life, but I can punch hard. Growing up in inner city squalor gave me good grounding in self defence. It was smack or be smacked! :slgo:

Re: Sikh police officer refused to remove his turban

Not wishing to take sides, I would use the diversity stance that has been drummed into us from day 1. Wouldn't it have been possible to provide a private changing room to allow the officer to change into the helmet without breaching his religious beliefs?

It's only a tie! I've had to wear one in almost every job I've had since leaving school. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I popped into our VOSA station when it first opened, I was made to feel as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit!! :slbli: :slbli: :slbli: - Where you at Bill? Don't worry about those in the test stations, roadside enforcement staff are much more welcoming (and always tend to have ready supplies of tea ...

If you drop me a PM with your OS location i'll do my best to provide you with a decent point of contact if you like? Do bear in mind though that not all regions have 24/7 coverage at this point in time. PM sent, may thanks. :slgo: I popped into our VOSA station when it first opened, I was made to f...

Re: what would you do [if off duty and..]

I've been travelling up the A1M and observed a 6 vehicle RTC happen right in front of me, I stopped, made sure there were no injuries and phoned it in to HAIL giving the correct location. There was nothing more I could do as everything was now on the hard shoulder so I left them to it. :slgo:

Re: Hello fellow TO's

Hello from a fellow noob! I've also been watching from afar. I've been with the H.A. for over 3 years. I currently patrol between Hadrians Wall and the White Cliffs of Dover, so that narrows it down a bit. I don't want to alert the stormtroopers of my proper location. :slgo:
