One of the major obstacles we have with the TOS is that us on the ground have moved on to meet the changes in the job but the pink and fluffy brigade are still stuck on day one.

Of course this is going to work, The government will make it work. And when it all goes T*ts up the government will give some excuse that the principle was good and sound but they were let down by the private and voluntary service providers. Whats the betting that some company is going to make a lot...

Training for new stuff RT?
I haven't been offered refresher training for the old stuff! And half the the training we were taught to do we are no longer permitted to do because it is not pink and fluffy enough.

This is the reason the younger T/O's are doing a towing course.

Most serious incidents are all done and dusted within 5 hours. I cant see that the screens could be deployed in time to have any valid effect. If the job is likely to take longer than 5 hours it is more than likely the road is closed any way. If the screens can be deployed earlier are they air ambul...
