Re: A force to be reckoned with.

Why does the topic of TO's doing enforcement keep coming up. We are not Police or any enforcement body. Just because we work with them does not mean we are anything like them. If people want to do that they should join the Police when the opportunity arises. The HA would have to spend millions on r...

Re: Flashing lorries

For ince CB I agree with you. To me, if a driver flashes me it's just to tell me his/her lights work and to inform me of their presence.

Re: When lorries become lethal.

It is a repeat i think. Recall watching it last year. The image above is the M61 just outside of Manchester, before any emergency services arrived. The first thing on the right hand side of the picture working from the bottom upwards, is the underside of a (Merc Sprinter?) van. Unfortunately someon...

Re: A force to be reckoned with.

Slabber, like you I've done my fair share over the years.. Nothing wrong with the way things are now. Ok, a few tweeks here and there, but that's all. Policing should be left to be done by the Police end of. There are far too many rumours as it is amongst the rank and file of our local force that ar...

Re: A force to be reckoned with.

HATO's to have the powers to nick offending motorists? No! That's the job of the Police. We are not the police so there is no need for such powers.

Re: Motorists slowing down to save cash

I have to say that there have been more staying at around 50-55mph rather than the 60-65mph in lanes 1 & 2, as well as the faster "A" roads.

Re: Learn to drive like a HATO.

That video, just after the incident, see the distance between the vehicle the cameraman/woman was in and those ahead of him/her. Rubber necking is rarely a good idea, and why people must look to see others misfortune is beyond me. I totally agree matey.. Hey, no offence taken re your other post.. J...

Re: Learn to drive like a HATO.

BTW, all this footage and not a HATO in sight
Point being? It's just another average morning on that section of the M60! What do you want, wall to wall HATO's escorting the pubes out of the traffic? Maybe, if the public chose alternative routes instead of following each other like lame sheep!

Re: MAN WHO CRASHED CAR AT 135MPH ON M6 IN CUMBRIA BLAMES PO

Driving over a ton is an experience.. Last time for me was on a donor organ transfer.. Was ruddy knackered when we got there, I can tell ya! Even with lights and the noise you always get some loon who insists on getting in your way, even on the emptiest of motorways. Makes me wonder how the pubics c...

Re: Secondary Employment

I'm quite open that I do a bit on the side.. Not driving, but still keeps me out late so have to be careful so it doesn't clash with an early shift the following day.
