Welcome and congratulations

On the fifth of June is it the training that you start or the assesment centre?

Which region are you going for? (PM me, (if you wish), if you want to maintain secrecy levels). Just wondering if our blank files might be filled this year... It also helps with rumour control. The HA's need to know policy means we know nothing about APTR's, a new wave of commrades could indicate we may be taking them on pretty soon.

Sniffing around for information Redneck

Hi DJ welcome
As M6 said do you start training on the 5th June or is that an Assessment centre day :?:
Either way good luck.
If it's an assessment day have a look back through some of the previous threads and you should pick up some good advice and pointers.
If it's starting training ENJOY and believe me it gets BETTER
All the Best KK :) :) :) :)

I think it's been said before - but just be yourself!! As far as I know the HA are still looking for people who are customer focused. That is the main attribute and if you can keep calm under pressure then that's a bonus too!!

The TOs I know come from a whole range of backgrounds so that is not really relevant. Well done for getting this far and good luck for the future!!

Welcome Fearny.

Have a good look around the site. There's plenty of advice for assessment centres about and those who've visited us first seem to have a higher success rate at assessment!

Be prepared if successful to be put on a 2 year waiting list. This is standard practice nowadays but you should be contacted much sooner.

any last tips u got for me before I go??

I am normally pretty good in difficult preasured situations as I have been a restaurant manager for a good few years so I know how to deal with the aukward 1's.

not that it makes any difference I would of thought.
