ASAP
you could have asked these question anytime there are many RCC Ops that would answer your question, before i answer these i would like to see Mandown's answers as another RCC operator, If then from a different region it will be interesting to see how the answer varies.

Ow do mandown, watch out for Jezza and Slabber challenging you to a pie eating competition. Although ASAP's catching them up, he now navigates by bakery's, pie shops and chippies. :slgo:

now you of all people should know the answer to that!

It's because the Old Bill calls us with a live lane job, and they've no-one to go, the HA says that we've to send you and pass on your ETA (from your patch to the furthest tip = 25 mins) as we're not allowed to reply "no patrols available". The Old Bill will then let you get 20 mins into your run, and call it back in as a No Trace, so we then let you go home.

Acutally, just to let you know, you're not being singled out, most of the other Police forces play the same game.
