PM title: Warning.
PM text: This is a warning. You have tried to post a word that is defined as spam on this website. Please refrain from doing so again.
The above PMs will be generated and sent to any members using a word that is defined as spam on this website. Now the PM is sent on my behalf and appears to have been sent by me individually to the "offending member" concerned. The PMs are created automatically by our spam system which stops a gigantic 90% of unwanted (spam) messages getting through.
How do I know this? Because that 90% stopped is diverted to an admin area that only I can view. A handful of these messages are in fact GENUINE messages written by members who have tried to post websites in the main. In those cases I do my best to PM the member and advise of what can be done to address the situation.
If you receive a PM regarding use of spam PLEASE contact me if you are confused or require further info.
THE POLL IN THIS TOPIC AND the topic itself will BOTH be locked in 31 days time

No problem at all Falkor. Spam YUK! Do what you can to keep it off the site
If I get a Spam notice due to something I have written, then obviously I shoudnt have wrote it! I suspect it will be a genuine error on my behalf but a reminder wont go amiss!!
Just out of interest will these Spam mails incorpaorate words which have bee *** or _ _ _ out? Or is it simply trying to post a dodgy web site etc?

I must confess I felt a bit agrieved initially, thinking that I have been reprimanded for trying to post a genuine link, but once it was all explained I understood fully.
Other forums I post on have been inundated by spambots recently and everyone gets frustrated with them.
So this active stance against them gets my full support.

What i want to do Is why do the little %$£" muppet sit down and hatch these little things, why dont they just get a life and do something with it rather than annouy us all.
What the hells the matter with them?????
CORRECTION! The most common lie isn't "I'm fine" The most common lie is "I have read and agreed to the terms and use of conditions"
